Show love for Cooper and his family!
Fenton community, we need to come together and support this wonderful local family. As many of you may have heard, Cooper was with a friend and had a tragic four wheeling accident two days ago on July 3rd.
He was airlifted to the trauma unit at the hospital in Grand Rapids and intubated. He’s been successfully removed from the ventilator, and currently able to breathe on his own.
Cooper suffered a severe level grade concussion and currently has 3 separate brain bleeds. They’re hoping to do an MRI soon to see if the bleeds are worsening or improving. They were hoping once they removed the ventilator to get a CT scan yesterday, but Cooper spiked a fever, and they decided to let his brain rest without further stimulation.
While the Dean family has health insurance, they do have a large deductible. Needless to say there will be a very long road ahead of them with many, many Dr.’s appointments, and eventually therapy appointments. There will be many missed days of work in all of this for both of them.
Let’s lighten their financial load by showing love and support to them. We, as a community, have the power to do this.
None of us ever know when a crisis such as this will happen. What we do have control over is how we offer support to each other.
Above all, your prayers for Cooper and his family would be much appreciated.
Thank you to all who extend their prayers, donate and love the Dean family through this most unfortunate time.
Now let’s do this!!!
