Show love for the Adams family

What a year 2021 has started out to be. After this past year I think everyone was hoping for something a little better. I definitely know my parents were. Paul and Sara are two of the most loving people I know. I know it sounds like a overly used statement but they will literally give anyone they know the shirts off their back. This has been more than evident in my life.

Anyone who knows my mom and dad knows how much they love their grandkids! My oldest daughter Abbie has always been treated better than either her or I could ever hope for by my parents and I will be forever grateful. When they weren’t able to fly out to my youngest daughter Brynlee’s first birthday last month because of a freak snow storm in southern Arkansas, they were devastated. Fortunately, they were able to re-schedule and come out the following month.

This weekend has been a great weekend of fun and spending time with family. Abbie got to hang out with her little sister and Brynlee could not have been happier. That would have not been able to happen without my parents. Sometime tonight as they slept and prepared to fly home to Arkansas tomorrow their house caught on fire. Right now the cause of it is believed to be lightening. They lost almost everything. Some things were able to be saved that were in the back of the house and the garage but the majority of their daily living necessities are gone. Years of sentimental items my mom has saved were lost and cannot be replaced. They are still thankful that no one was hurt!

They have faith that God will provide but know the road ahead is filled with long days and stressful decisions. They will navigate the insurance claim and without a doubt rebuild and continue to not only be great parents but even better grandparents. It’s weird even typing this. I am asking for donations to help my parents get back on their feet. I had no idea what to set a go fund me goal at. I know in the immediate days they will needs clothes, toiletries, food, and love from their friends and family. Any amount of donation will be helpful. My daughter Abbie had her own room their with toys and items she had collected over the past 10 years that were very near to her. Any donation will be very helpful and much appreciated. I have no doubt that the community will pull together to take care of them! Please keep my family in your prayers! Thank you.
