Show Ms Robin you care!

Donation protected

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your help in supporting our dear friend, Ms. Robin, as she fights cancer. As many of you know, Ms. Robin is a fighter, and she has been bravely battling this disease with all her might. Cancer is such a horrendous thing and somehow always seems to find the sweetest people who genuinely care. She has a baseball size tumor which has attached itself to the muscle and bone of her pelvis. The plan is for her to have daily radiation for at least 4 weeks and then go from there. Last I heard, she was having a hard time.

I watched Ms Robin go from sitting on a stool, to crutches and then a wheelchair. At the time, I did not know what was going on but was impressed by her continuing to show up everyday for our kids. Ms Jennifer even said she just wanted to keep coming so she could be a part of the Up a Creek family.

My daughter, Adilyn is one of the original kids from the beginning. We are so thankful for Up A Creek, their owners and their staff. My child actually gets mad at us if we pick her up before 530pm, no matter the reason, she is still mad.

As a working parent like many of you, this feels my heart with joy and lessens some (but never all) of the guilt of having to put your kids in childcare. I have dealt with less than great and some even horrible child care situations before ,so I know just how hard quality and caring people like our Up a Creek family can be to find. I am so thankful for them and my heart breaks for Ms Robin and what all she will have to endure.

As many of you probably know, cancer affects not just the person who has it but so many other things as well. Even with the best of insurance, there are always extra costs, copays, missed work, medicines and so much more that all add up. When dealing with so much, I think anything is appreciated from a small gift like a gift card for a meal or a lump sum to help with bills and missed work. We will be collecting donations and cards to give to Ms Robin to help her during this time. I ask that you donate what you can to help out. ANY amount is appreciated and it quickly adds up when there are so many people. With the help of Ms Jennifer, I will set up a GoFundMe account so it can easily be shared, people are able to donate anonymously if they wish and the funds are kept secure.
I know that Ms. Robin is loved and respected by so many of us, and I am confident that we can come together as a community to help her in this difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in Ms. Robin's fight against cancer.

So I ask you to please consider making a donation to support Ms. Robin and her family during this challenging time. Your donation will go directly towards her and will make a world of difference in her journey towards recovery and knowing how much we care.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Let's show Ms. Robin that she is not alone in this fight and that we are here to support her every step of the way.
Thank you for your time.
