Show Shelby Grace Our PEI Love

On September 29 2018 Nathan, Nancy, big sisters Charleigh and Sarah Beth and big brother Evan Power welcomed their perfect little warrior Shelby Grace to the world! 

Shelby was born with  congenital heart disease, some of her problems include Hypo plastic left ventricle, Pulmonary vein stenosis,Atrial septal defect, hypo plastic aortic arch, as well as a Coarctation of her aortic arch. Shelby has had 2 open heart surgeries in her short little life and has pulled through them like a superstar! 

Shelby is also fighting a hypo plastic right lung, one of her vocal cords is paralyzed (from her first surgery). This little miracle baby has shown her family and friends what a huge fighter she truly is! 

In the next couple weeks Shelby will be having a feeding tube placed in her belly, and should be coming home to the QEH soon, until she is strong enough to go home to her family.

Shelby will be coming home with oxygen and a feeding tube that will require home supplies. Shelby will also need to have follow up appointments at the IWK in the coming months.
