Show some love for David & Amy Gabbard

Donation protected

David Gabbard had a terrible bike wreck on Saturday, 4/18, and took an ambulance ride to the ER at Atlanta Medical Center. Thankfully, he was wearing a helmet and didn't break any bones, but his MRI showed a fractured a vertebrae in his neck, 3 ruptured/bulging discs, and damage to his spinal cord. He went through a very long and intense surgery the next day. Overall, it went well, but David is in a lot of pain and has a long recovery ahead.

Due to the risk of catching covid-19, Amy is not able to stay with him at the hospital, which adds a lot of stress to the trauma.

We don't know when David will be able to come home, and what kind of bills he will receive. Sounds like he will have 6-8 weeks of physical therapy to even get back on his feet. He was laid off from his job at the start of the shutdown, and we don't want him and Amy to worry too much about money. Please give generously so David can focus on resting and healing, and both of them know how much they are loved.

I will update this with details as I learn them.
