Hi, my name is Jocelyn Nelson/Watmuff, my brother-in-law, Adrian Balmer, was taken by ambulance on October 1st, 2022, to the Christiana hospital; his entire body was swelling up, he was in/out of alertness and was having problems breathing. After numerous tests, they determine that Adrian has two (2) severe infections in his body: MRSA of the blood and Sepsis in the joints. Adrian is very weak and can not walk or do simple tasks. They have him on powerful intervenous antibiotics and pain medicine to make him comfotable. Adrian has a long road ahead of him and is in need of your prayers. Once Adrian is stable and able to leave the hospital, he will be transferred to a rehabilitation hospital where he will regain his strength back and learn to walk and use his legs again, and learn how to do normal everyday independant tasks in order to leave the rehabilitation hospital.
Adrian's wife and my sister-in-law Kelly Balmer is also under a lot of stress, trying to be there for him, plus work and take care of their sick dog Duke. Adrian will not be able to return back to the job he loved at Delaware Park. We hope in the future that, he makes a full recovery and can maybe one day work again.
Any help would greatly be appreciated for Adrian, please consider donating to his recovery, with the mounting medical expenses and financial burden during this difficult time. Let's please focus on Adrian's recovery and also send him lots of prayers!
