Show the Bristow's how much they are loved!!!

On June 6th, our dear family friend Ian Bristow was in a severe car accident coming home from school. He was ejected from the vehicle. Ian was transported to the hospital, then flown out to Wake Med, in Raleigh. Ian suffered life threatening injuries and has undergone one surgery so far.

Ian has sustained two collapsed lungs, six broken ribs on the left side and one broken rib on the right side and dislocated an upper vertebra.

They performed surgery to repair the dislocated vertebrae and placed two rods. Ian is in ICU Peds unit and sedated at this time.

Ian's recovery will be long. He will be in the hospital for at least a few weeks, or longer. Then he will have months of recovery and physical therapy. Ian's parents will be by his side, as will family and friends to cheer him on.

Ian is a fighter and needs all the prayers and support he can get to pull through. Ian is an outstanding athlete at Western Harnett High School, where he is finishing his junior year. Anyone who knows Ian knows he has the biggest heart, and you cannot help but love him.

We are hoping to generate a display of support for this family. We know his parents, Daniel and Maria, are hard-working and generous people who will be by their son's side during his uphill battle. Let us show them as a community just how much they are loved and appreciated.

Jay and I have a son, Trent, who is best friends with Ian. Ian is like a son to us, and his parents are such amazing people. As parents, we cannot even begin to imagine what they are going through, but we want to help and support them. All proceeds will go directly to the Bristow family.
