Show Your Appreciation of Rikin's Achievement

August 2014 Rikin embarked on an ambitious journey to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Ambitious, why? Well because he always knew he wanted to be a dentist, but in late 2013/early 2014 he found himself in the midst of a very challenging and serious health crisis faced by his dad. Despite the enormous emotional and psychological challenges, Rikin persevered and gained entry to the compressed dental program at the State University of New York at Buffalo. This allowed Rikin to complete his Bachelors of Science in Biology with Honors in three years and complete his DDS credential in four years. But what is most telling is, his strength of mind and bravery to leave his family, particularly his dad, and pursue his education thousands of miles away. 

Rikin has worked really hard to meet the rigorous compressed course requirements to not only qualify for Honors recognition, but he has persevered in passing all of the challenging dental school requirements, including Board Certification. We are truly proud to say Mr. Rikin Patel is now Dr. Rikin Patel. 

Beginning June 2021 Rikin will be starting the next phase of his life, Residency at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He is in the process of securing an apartment and other living essentials.
