Show your love for the McGrath family

Dana our long-term employee of 23 years and resident of Ridgefield Park for 57 years and the McGrath family has suffered a tremendous loss with the unexpected death of their husband, father and grandfather, Kevin McGrath.

Kevin was the perfect “family man.” He loved and supported his wife and children until his health prevented him from doing so. Many people have been helped by this community-oriented family throughout their time in Ridgefield Park. You may know Kevin’s wife Dana as an active girl scout leader or special education support person. Perhaps you were one of the many people she baked cookies for, sent a meal to you in your time of need, made you laugh when you thought you couldn’t or treated your child as if they were one of her own. You may also know Kevin’s son Joe, daughter Jessie and daughter-in-law Carly as one of your children’s teachers, aides or therapists, or the true friend your child needed in high school. They have always given to others but now they need our help. Because of Kevin’s prolonged illness, the medical expenses are significant, even with insurance. Also like the loving parents they were, Dana and Kevin put their children through college before thinking of themselves.
