Showing support for Bryan Robinson

My friends and I left out Saturday night to go to Mac’s to celebrate one of our friend’s birthdays.  It was Coker College night so several of us from Francis Marion met up with our friends from Coker.  We never expected what would come next. Our lives would be changed FOREVER but at least we still have our lives to live!  Bryan wasn’t as fortunate and his family will never get to say goodbye!!!  That night I couldn’t help Bryan and neither could Michael, Jordyn, Stevie Leigh or Camryn. We felt HELPLESS having to run out to save our lives while others lay fighting for theirs!!!  After much prayer, the one thing we can do, is offer help now to Bryan’s family.  Bryan was a hard worker and he and his Fiancé Rosalyn worked together to raise their kids, 2 sons and 1 daughter who also attends Francis Marion. Rosalyn’s income just went from 2 to 1. We may not have been able to help Bryan when he was struck by a stray bullet while minding his own business and not bothering anyone but we CAN help Rosalyn as she faces the days, weeks and months ahead.  We didn’t know Bryan personally but I have included a post from his employer of 10 years that knew him well. Please find it in your hearts to help his family.  Beneficiary for this account is William Robinson and Rosalyn.

To all of you ignorant uninformed individuals making statements on Facebook about this young man, Bryan Robinson, let me assure you that he was an innocent bystander in the shooting at Mac's Lounge on Sunday morning. He was an honest, Pleasant, loving, giving individual who wanted nothing more then to relax after a long, hard, week of honest work. I know this because he worked for me and was an integral part of my organization. I've known this young man since he was born and have been friends with his family and worked with his father for 32 years. For you to assume that just because he was a young black man caught up in the senseless fray of bullets from ignorant stupid young kids that know nothing more to do than to use guns to settle their foolish arguments, that he was somehow involved in all of it is ignorant on your part. If you don't know a person, don't assume things about a person. If you take offense to this comment then you are just as ignorant and foolish as you think the people are that you are commenting about. I know nothing about the other victims, but I can assure you that Bryan was an innocent victim, and we all will be forever at a loss.
