Jennifer's story goes like this. She is 39 years old and in April of 2018 she was diagnosed with stage 2 stomach cancer. She went through 4 rounds of chemo before they did the surgery in October to remove here entire stomach. And when they got in there they found out she had stage 3 not stage 2. After the surgery she continued to go downhill and nobody could figure out why. (Not even the doctors) They just said she was weak from the chemo. She was supposed to go through 4 after the surgery and was only able to do 3 of them because of her being so weak. She ended up in a wheelchair and was not able to do everyday tasks on her own. So starting a few months ago she ended up with E.coli and was septic and was admitted to the ICU several times because of the infection. In June when she was in the hospital, she lost her dad on June 1st and then we celebrated her birthday and Anniversary on June 6th at the hospital. But it really wasn't a celebration because she was sick and she just lost her daddy. So she has had a really rough ride with this whole thing. Then to top off all of the bad stuff already happening to her, her last visit to the hospital was the one nobody wanted to experience. They found a big mass that had already damaged several of her organs. When they drained that mass it revealed another mass between her large intestine and her colon. That's when they found out about the cut in her intestine. It has been leaking infection into her body for a long time now and there was nothing they could do about it. She was to weak for surgery and if they went in with the needle again they risked puncturing her lung so that was out of the question. So that's when they told us that she was going home on Hospice and we had come to the end of the road with her battle. The problem is, is that she does not have life insurance and as a family we are trying to come up with all we can but its not enough. We don't know where else to turn. But if you can't donate please please please just pray for Jennifer and our family as we fight the rest of this battle with her. Thank you so much everyone.
