COVID-19 EMERGENCY RELIEF – SHRADDHA HOSPITAL
Together we can make a big difference in one of the most challenging time India is facing. We are asking everyone to join in this effort.
”Shraddha Hospital”, the medical organization created by Chovis Gaam Samaj is located in Borsad, Anand District. Under the leadership of Dr. Paresh Patel, this institution is engaged to provide affordable health care to the Chovis Gaam and the surrounding community since 2004. Shraddha Hospital is in the process of starting another mobile unit close to Bhadran with a capacity of 50 beds for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. As per Dr. Paresh Patel, getting Oxygen concentrators to help treat the victims is very challenging with the current catastrophe.
Oxygen concentrator costs around $500 per unit. We have an initiative to collect funds to get about 100 units specifically for Shraddha Hospital. But the main challenge we are facing at the moment is the logistics. We have contacted ‘Joy of Sharing Foundation’ of Southern California to help us facilitate the medical equipment straight to Shraddha Hospital. This organization is currently active in the procurement of equipment from USA to India. They have already airlifted one phase of 300 units and working on more.
I personally have donated to different fundraisers with the faith to help and support the victims in India. But I would also like to contribute my donation to ”Shraddha Hospital”, the medical organization created by Chovis Gaam Samaj.
