Shrubb Family - From Ashes to Hope

I am Dawn Livingstone (previously married to Warren Shrubb), Lakem's mom, and a continued part of the Shrubb family.

As you are likely aware, Bill, Grace, Warren & Dani, Lakem, and their friend, Bill, lost their home to a devastating house fire Friday afternoon, April 14, 2023. Miraculously, no one was injured, however, heartbreakingly, the dogs, Daisy and Mya, were, and are resting in peace.

The home was custom-built to provide Bill and Grace with the ability to continue living on the Family Homestead throughout their senior years, keeping the importance of family connection as their anchor, yet providing some independence.

Warren and Lakem were preparing for Dani's long awaited return home (next month), had her hospital bed, 'accessibility’ items, etc., ready.

E v e r y t h i n g is gone.

I started this GoFundMe to help the Shrubbs restore the pillar of their family - Togetherness.

Amazingly, they have located a house to rent, however, it needs to be significantly renovated prior to being habitable, and 'accessible living' accommodation for Grace and Dani, needs to be implemented.

As you can imagine, the last few days (years) have been challenging, to say the least; this hurdle is far from over, but, together, we can help clear their path.

If you know the Shrubbs personally, you know they are always on the 'giving end'; it is my aim to collect enough tangible resources to enable them to move toward healing, together.

Any amount that you can contribute toward preparing the rental and current living expenses, would be sincerely appreciated (and wisely used).
