Shuford's Smokehouse Mud Slide Relief Fund
Donation protected
Shuford's barbecue has been operating at the base of Signal for 33 years. Jeff and crew have been like family for many of us through the years. Whether we needed a quick lunch or a Thanksgiving dinner, Shuford's has been there. Jeff and his employees are a part of what makes Chattanooga such a great place to live in. The Chattanooga Times Free Press reported that:
"Late last month, the mudslide caused the Subway restaurant next door to collapse... While a sign on the Shuford's building says it is "condemned," city spokeswoman Richel Albright said it's more accurate to refer to it as "a dangerous structure." She said "condemned" isn't used in the city code."
Obviously, this has impacted operations at the business. I started this campaign to help show Jeff Davis and the Shuford's barbecue crew that the community thanks them for being there for us all these years. Funds will be given directly to Jeff to use at his own discretion.
