Shuman Family Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
On Sunday night, September 1st, Jake passed away suddenly from a motorcycle accident. With a heavy heart, the Shuman Family and I ask for help in navigating through this difficult time. Jake leaves behind his mother, Jeanne "Mama Shuman" and his siblings. Jake was also the proud owner of his custom motorcycle shop, Jake's Custom Cycles.

Jake was such a compassionate and hardworking man in the Folsom and Orangevale communities. As a former Seabee in the Navy, Jake's proudest accomplishments were serving his country and caring for his family and community. Through his custom motorcycle business, Jake was very active in Folsom and Orangevale, including sponsoring local sports teams and school events and creating fundraisers for other families and fellow veterans. Jake had the biggest heart and anybody who knew him would agree. Please consider helping his family in their time of need.

As for myself, I work at Andy's Tokyo Sushi with my parents, Christina and Andy (the current owners). Jake was a regular customer of ours who quickly forged close friendships with my family and the other employees. Jake became more than just a customer and my family considers him and his family as a part of our own. We are just one of many others whose lives' were touched by Jake, which is why I have created this GoFundMe page on the Shumans' behalf.
