Shuri Castle devastation aid

Today, October 31 2019, a fire broke out in Shuri castle in Okinawa Prefecture that devastated many of the historical structures.  I have spoken to some military personnel and friends and we decided to step up in solidarity to raise funds to present to the prefecture to aid the rebuilding of this magnificent castle that was already once destroyed in 1945 during the war.  
If you have ever lived or visited Okinawa, I know you must have seen the images of Shuri Castle if not visited the castle grounds yourself.  I have, and my heart is broken just like many of you.  

Would you please join me and support our beloved Okinawa to help collect donations to give to rebuilding the Castle?  Many military spouses' organizations on the island are standing with me to help me share and spread this fundraising campaign. This collective effort shown by military families to help Okinawa has even made WORD news.  The effort had been noticed and broadcasted nationwide in Japan as well. 

I am in touch with Okinawa Prefecture government office in Washington DC and have been discussing how to transfer this donation, where to best donate, etc.  Rest assured 100% of your funds will go directly to aid the reconstruction of the iconic castle.

本日、10月31日、首里城が炎上するという悲劇的なニュースに皆様も驚かれまだショックを受けているでしょう。米軍関係者達とも今日お話したところ、何か手助けをしたいという話になり、ネット上の募金活動をする事にしました。沖縄を愛する心はみんな一緒。私も海兵隊の配偶者として沖縄に３年住み、毎日帰りたく恋しく思っています。
