Joshua Journey
Donation protected
December 12, 2020 is the day that forever changed our family. Joshua was cleaning out our cattle trailer to get it ready to put clean shavings in. His grandfather got him started on the job and told him he would be back to check on him in a little bit.
Apparently the self latching rear door blew shut at some point and Joshua attempted to do what seemed to be logical and open a side door. Since all the latches are on the outside, he couldn't quite reach and must have either climbed or pulled himself up. He reached his arm through the 6 inch opening in the side of the trailer, and must've also squeased his head through to see what he was doing.
When Grandpa came back to check on him in that position. He immediately dailed 911 and began CPR on his lifeless body.
Joshua remain in the Penn State Hershey Medical Pediatric Trauma unit for 5 days. They did everything they could, but his brain was without oxygen to long. They only could report that his organs were functioning well. While we were praying for a miracle for our son, God began to reveal to us that he had multiple miracles in mind for others through organ donation.
Joshua blessed over 100 lives.
