Urgent medical treatment needed to help Shylah

Shylah has big dreams of taking her netball to an elite level, she has worked extremely hard to compete at her highest level and has a netball in her hand at every opportunity, recently she ruptured her ACL during a netball game a couple of weeks ago. This has turned her world upside down.

The doctors have told her that the public system has a back log which means she would not be able to receive the much needed surgery for 2 years followed by a 12 month rehab program. Meaning she would not play netball again for at least 3 years.

the only other option was that we pay $15,000 to receive the surgery privately. Private surgery would occur within the month and her 12 month rehab program would follow which would allow her to play again next year.

As a single mum, this is not within my means, I’m not one to typically ask for help, but this is not something I can do on my own.
