Si Moo, may she lay her Mom to rest in peace.

My dear friend Si Moo who's a Medical Assistant and my colleague, along with her sister and her beloved mom, Ro Shee Na, left a couple of weeks ago for a long awaited trip to Thailand to reunite with family. They were set to return home to the USA this past week when Ro Shee had to be rushed to the hospital in Thailand. After a few days in the hospital, tragedy struck late Friday night as Si had to watch her Mom take her last breath.

May you rest in peace, Ro Shee.

My heart breaks for Si as she is now not only facing the grief of her Mom's unexpected passing, but faces all the stress of the medial bills, travel expenses and decisions about where to lay her Mom to rest due to financial burden.

I'm sure all Si is wishing right now is to go back in time to this picture so she can give her Mom one more sweet kiss.
