Sidney & Danika to National KidWind Challenge
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Sandy Bickford and I teach STEM courses at Mt. Ararat Middle School. On March 23, fourteen students from my 8th grade Wind Turbine Energy Challenge courses competed in the Maine State KidWind Challenge held in Portland. Schools from across the state brought student teams who had created the best model wind turbines and engineering documentation requirements from their respective schools.
The Mt. Ararat Middle School team of Sidney Keleher and Danika Levasseur became the Maine State Middle School KidWind Champions for 2023 and are planning to attend the National KidWind Challenge! It would be great if you could help us raise the needed funds for this amazing opportunity.
The KidWind Challenge is a nationwide competition where students work in small engineering groups to design, build and test model wind turbines. The winners from each state are invited to represent their state at the National Kidwind Challenge in Boulder, Colorado this May.
FMI please reach out to me at the middle school. Thank you so much!! Any amount will be appreciated!
