Sienna’s charity chop
After a year long decision, in July Sienna will be doing something very special for a local children’s charity called The Polly Parrot Children’s Services appeal - Polly’s Pad
Polly’s pad is based at Basildon hospital in Essex and is a place for parents and siblings to stay when their child is hospitalised through serious illness. It allows families to stay together when children face often daunting treatment in hospital.
Famed for her long blonde hair, Sienna has decided not only to raise money for this local charity, but to help another at the same time too.
On the 12th July, Sienna will have 14 inches of her blonde locks chopped for charity, with her hair being donated to The Little Princess Trust. Her hair will then be transformed into a hairpiece to help other kids cope with their own hair loss, often caused by illness or during treatment for illness, such as cancer.
These are two truly amazing charities and this is one beautiful gesture from our daughter, as she celebrates her 10th birthday.
We’re lucky to have happy and healthy children, but we know this shouldn’t be taken for granted. Sienna wants to help those who aren’t as fortunate as her and this is her way of doing just that.
Help Sienna raise some money a great local charity and support another too. Please donate generously and let’s do something special in July
Thank you ❤️
