Sierra Leone Emergency Relief

My name is Duni Hebron, a native of Sierra Leone. There has been a devastating flood in my country, severely impacting the capital of Freetown, my hometown.

Flood waters and landslides ripped through homes in the middle of the night on Monday, August 14, 2017. People were asleep therefore unable to get out of harms way. The landslide and flood waters crushed and buried homes, killing hundreds of people, with hundreds more unaccounted for. The devastation has left numerous people injured and thousands homeless.

The rains in Sierra Leone are expected to continue and help is needed immediately.

Any contributions are welcomed and are much appreciated. Please help me spread the word on this devastating disaster.

I'm kindly asking for help for my people, so that emergency shelter, medical supplies and food can be provided.
