George Wyndham & Sierra Leone Para Committee Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi everyone. For a couple of years, Tom Young and I (Charles Browne-Cole) have been working on a documentary film about Sierra Leone's famous table tennis Paralympic athlete, George Wyndham. While the film is currently being submitted to various film festivals in Europe and internationally we are setting up this fundraiser to acknowledge the help that the Sierra Leone Paralympic Committee gave us.
Our film about George Wyndham is a story about one mans journey through adversity, from catching polio at 5 years old and then through true grit and determination becoming the first Paralympic table-tennis athlete to represent Sierra Leone at the Paralympics (in Rio 2016). His story is an inspiration.
Funds raised will be split:
- 50% going to the small, independent and massively underfunded Sierra Leone Paralympic Committee; and,
- 50% directly to George Wyndham.
Money raised will help George Wyndham and the Sierra Leone Paralympic Committee to pursue inspiring the next generation of George's in Sierra Leone.
This Go Fund Me has been set up with the support of the key members (below) of the Sierra Leone Paralympic Committee and George Wyndham.
