Sige! Mutual Aid to Support LGBTQIA Filipinos
Donation protected
The economic crisis brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic has hit our collective hard. We urge our community and supporters to donate what you can to support our members through this crisis. As LGBTQIA+ Filipinos, many of us and our families are frontline health, service, and care workers who risk our lives daily. It's only through mutual aid and collective support that we can uplift each other and sustain our survival!
Funds raised will be allocated to our members most in need to pay rent, bills, and other basic expenses. Any extra expenses will be donated to our community partners who are mobilizing resources like PPE to health workers and LGBTQIA+ comrades in the Philippines.
Sige! (a Filipino word meaning “Go ahead!”) is a grassroots community organization based in NYC made for and organized by LGBTQIA+ Filipinos to create a culture of collective support and empower its members to fight for their rights, protection, and liberation.
