Team Restore Vision Surgical Mission - Kenya 2025

Take a few moments to imagine what it would be like to live every single day without your vision. To live every single day in a world of darkness due to cataract, the avoidable leading cause of blindness and vision loss in the world. It's horrifying! Team Restore Vision has performed free sight-saving surgeries in some of the most impoverished areas of the world. They aim to make surgery accessible to those suffering blindness without care options. Last year, in a span of just 5 days in Ghana, Africa, Team Restore Vision restored sight to 338 patients who had been blinded by cataract. This year, the team is headed back to Africa in January 2025 to the town of Kakamega, Kenya where there are hundreds of patients living in darkness every day. I am honored to be working alongside this team again as we use our skills, determination and grit to restore vision to people who otherwise have no options or hope.
