When a young autistic man falls in love with his classmate, he tries to win her over as well as to overcome the prejudices of his environment, while his communication problems make this more difficult.

What is the story behind "Signals"?

"Signals" is meant to be a romantic film, inspired by films like "Rain Man" and "The art of getting by".

The film aims to educate people about autism and its characteristics. It intends to show the difficulties autistic people face in everyday life (e.g. school).

Since i'm autistic myself, the topic is very important to me and i want to do my best to deliver an accurate depiction. For this, i am collaborating closely with other people on the spectrum during filming.
