My name is Keyan Vojdani and I am a freshman at Moorestown High School. I have created a program called Signs for Service which is designed to show appreciation for our Heroes of 2020 including our first responders, medical professionals, essentials workers, etc. who risk their lives in battling the coronavirus. I am raising money for Virtua Health's Coronavirus Emergency Fund. By donating $20 or more (which would be much appreciated), you will get a lawn sign to thank these brave heroes. In addition, the money that does not go to paying for the lawn sign itself will go to Virtua Health's Coronavirus Emergency Fund. Virtua Health is the largest medical provider in South Jersey. Please share this with your community so we can show our gratitude and help the local hospitals.
Donation: $20 or more (which would be greatly appreciated); in this nonprofit cause $7.64 will go to the cost of the lawn sign and the rest will go to “Virtua Heath's Coronavirus Emergency Fund”.
Lawn Sign Delivery/Pickup:

What are the lawn signs for? The signs I designed are to thank and show appreciation for medical professionals, essential workers, first responders, etc. for their sacrifices and services in these difficult times. These signs can be displayed in front of homes/businesses to show our thanks to these heroes. You can see the sign design below (it is attached).
Why Virtua? What will they do? Virtua Health is the largest health care/medical provider in South Jersey. Virtua Health's Coronavirus Emergency Fund will help obtain and respond to the need for critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and medical equipment, expand their telemedicine capabilities to provide virtual care to patients safely and securely, provide fresh, healthy food to increasing numbers of patients and families in need through its Food Access program. Please visit this link: Virtua Health's Coronavirus Relief Fund to learn more about the cause.
Questions: please do not hesitate to contact this email with any questions: [email redacted]
This effort was in part inspired by Liam Marshall of New Jersey. All of us are in this together.
Here is an image of the lawn sign I designed (it won't be cut off on the actual lawn sign)

In these unprecedented times, COVID-19 is changing billions of lives as we know it. From students learning from home to online video conferences to businesses shutting their doors, life has dramatically been changed. Teachers have to create new lesson plans for online learning, doctors are using telemedicine for their patients, while still abiding to stay home orders. Every day, millions of healthcare workers, essential workers, first responders, and countless others across the globe risk their lives to care for COVID-19 cases. No matter how they help, from sanitizing medical equipment to researching possible vaccines for the coronavirus and treating patients for the disease itself, people sacrifice their lives and serve their communities.
In the state of New Jersey, there are already over 100,000 coronavirus cases, making it the second hardest hit in the United States. Unfortunately, almost 6,000 lives have been lost due to this illness. Countless hospitals are having difficulty finding personal protective equipment (PPE) including N-95 masks, surgical gowns, respirators, gloves, and sanitary supplies. In addition, due to the unemployment rate being the highest rate (over 20%) and comparable to the Great Depression, many individuals struggle to put food on their tables for their families because they have no income.
From a personal standpoint, I know what a struggle it was for my dad to find N95 masks to care for his emergency dental patients who were in pain. They could not be found almost anywhere and it was vital for his work due to the close proximity to a person’s mouth.
This is why I created Signs For Service, a program where people can donate $20 or more (which would be greatly appreciated) to this Go Fund Me Fundraiser, getting a “Thank You” lawn sign for healthcare workers in the process while also donating money to the Virtua Health's Coronavirus Emergency Fund. This means that approximately $7.64 dollars will go to the cost of the sign itself and all other money will go towards this fund. All money other than paying for the sign will go to “VIRTUA HEALTH'S CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY FUND.” With over five hospitals, two satellite emergency departments, eight urgent care centers, and more than 280 other locations, Virtua Health is South Jersey’s largest medical provider.
The lawn sign in 18 (height) x 24 (width). I designed the sign myself and you find an image of what it would look like below. By displaying these “Thank You” signs in front of houses, businesses, and other areas, we can show our appreciation in such times.
Thank you for helping out during this difficult time. If everyone helps a little bit together, we can make a big difference by funding both Virtua Health's Coronavirus Emergency Fund and showing our gratitude by displaying these lawn signs.
