Silence cries: a plea for help
Donation protected
My name is Makaih, and I am the son of Richard Green. In his darkest moment, he reached out for help. Instead of receiving the care and compassion he deserved, he was met with unimaginable cruelty. My father was shot over 50 times by a corrupt police force—gunned down when he was at his most vulnerable. They were the very people who were supposed to protect him, but they took his life instead.
After taking my father from us, they tried to erase their wrongdoing. Without informing us, they cut off all his hair, and without our consent, they planned to cremate him—an attempt to destroy evidence of their actions, of the brutality that tore our family apart. They tried to silence us, to bury their sins along with him, but we refuse to let his story die.
We are left not only to grieve his loss but also to fight a system that has wronged us in the most painful way. We are fighting for justice, for the truth to be told, and for my father’s memory to be honored, not forgotten. But this fight is long, and we can’t do it alone.
We ask for your help. In this journey of grief, pain, and endless battles against a system that failed us, any support you can give means the world to us. Your donations will not only help us navigate these tough times but also stand as a symbol that we are not alone in our quest for justice. Please stand with us and keep my father’s story alive. Every bit of support brings us closer to healing, to justice, and to a world where this can never happen again. Thank you for being part of this fight with us.
