Silent Auction Proceeds Providing Aid to Maui
Tax deductible
Glass Box, a local San Diego-based restaurant, is hosting an online silent auction from August 18th to September 1st, with 100% of its proceeds being donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation, a verified organization providing financial resources that can be deployed quickly, with a focus on rapid response and recovery for the devastating wildfires on Maui.
The proceeds are aimed at providing aid to Maui in the aftermath of the recent devastating wildfires. The auction will not only raise awareness about the impact of these wildfires but will also offer concrete support to those affected by the disaster.
The individual who donates the highest amount during the fundraiser will be awarded an exclusive 8-course Omakase dinner experience. This unique culinary journey will be hosted right in the winner's own home, allowing them to relish a carefully curated menu crafted by Glass Box's talented culinary team. Glass Box will also offer a complimentary appetizer to those who provide proof of their donation to the Hawaii Community Foundation.
As part of the fundraising event, 15% of all sales generated during this period at the restaurant will also be donated to the Hawaii Community Foundation.
