Siloti Nagri Writing Practice book to LIBRARIES

We want to give copies of our Siloti Nagri Writing Practice book to LIBRARIES around London, especially in Camden and Tower Hamlets.

We have three reward tiers:

1) Major reward of unique wood carving

2) Copy of the Siloti Nagri Writing Practice book

3) Keychains/bag dangles and/or bookmarks

Donate £500 (worldwide shipping included) for the unique wood carving above. It says [matɾi baʃa]~'matribhasha' maternal/native language in the Siloti/Syloti/Sylheti Nagri script, carved in suar, a.k.a. 'monkey pod' or 'rain tree' wood. It measures roughly 16" long by 9" high (about 40cm x 23cm).

If you donate *£49 we will send you one copy of the book and a second copy to a library - you can even suggest which library!

If you donate £100 we will send you one copy of the book with your name in the acknowledgements and as many copies as your donation affords to libraries - you can even suggest which libraries!

Libraries prefer to have at least two copies of children's books ...

If you prefer the digital copy but still want to donate to send copies to schools and libraries, donate **£20 to receive a keychain / bag dangle with your name in Siloti Nagri or a bookmark with the Siloti Nagri alphabet. Donate £30 to receive two keychains / bag dangles with your name(s) in Siloti Nagri and/or two bookmarks with the Siloti Nagri alphabet. Donate £40 to receive three keychains / bag dangles with your name(s) in Siloti Nagri and/or three bookmarks with the Siloti Nagri alphabet. And so on!

We'll work with you on the preferred spelling of your name(s) and take into account preferences for colour, shape, size, theme, etc.

* £49 is calculated on a print run of 10 books total, £23 per book with postage (and GoFundMe fees) - only five people need to make a donation!

If we increase the print run to 50 books, the price per book goes down to £13 with postage (and GoFundMe fees) so that a donation of £49 can get you a copy (or two) of the book and at least two copies sent to libraries. We need 25 people to make a donation so please share this campaign with everyone you know!!!

** £20 is calculated as a £10 donation with £10 for supplies, postage, and GoFundMe fees. £30 is calculated as a £20 donation with £10 for supplies, postage, and GoFundMe fees. And so on.

DISCLAIMER: Our bespoke resin keychains / bag dangles and bookmarks are handmade with care and may have some slight imperfections. If the imperfections are too unsightly, please contact us and we'll make a replacement, for free, but you'd need to pay postage and fees a second time.

All donations are sent to the SOAS Students' Union, which will then pay invoices for printing and posting. There is no admin overheard ; we're all volunteers working for free.
