Hi, everyone. My name is William Kedward but I go by my middle name, Greg. I am looking to raise money for our short film, called SILVER SURFERS OF THE SOUTH SHORE.

Canada’s east coast. Nova Scotia, South Shore. A true hidden gem barely known about, even by most Canadians. Its rugged beauty, white sandy beaches and moderate climate have been a well kept secret.

It’s amazing to me that we can walk one of the most incredible beaches on the planet and not see another soul for kilometers.

It’s here on Crescent beach in Lockeport Nova Scotia that we are going to meet a long time friend and author, Chris Bennett.

Chris migrated to The Nova Scotia south shore from Vancouver British Columbia in 2022 to retire and enjoy the less expensive, laid back lifestyle the east coast has to offer. Being an avid surfer in his younger days, it seemed like the perfect place to settle down and enjoy his later years catching a few waves in the stunning beauty of Nova Scotia’s South Shore.

Well, ends up Chris was far from alone in his quest to hang ten into the sunset. There is actually a group of like minded retirees living all through the South Shore. Not content to sit back in their easy chairs, these Silver Surfers have found a true fountain of youth in the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoying some much needed "Sea Therapy". With some heart warming stories of veterans with PTSD find their way to recovery through learning to surf, to the pure enjoyment of feeling the power of the ocean beneath their boards. Ignoring the passage of time and still riding the waves to keep young!
