Simba's Rattle snake bites

Simba encountered some rattlesnakes while chasing a ball on Friday and has been in ICU since.   We took him to Helen Woodward Animal Center and he was treated there, but was not doing too well.   He was transferred to another hospital due to complications of the multiple rattlesnake bites and has received three vials of anti-venom.  He also has a catheter and a fluid IV.  The rattlesnake bites occurred on Saturday morning.  So far, Simba is not able to eat or drink or walk and is in ICU in San Diego.    His back leg and genetalia are severely swollen and he is breathing heavy.   So far, the bill has crept up to $4,900 as of Tuesday, and he needs to be transferred to a specialize facility with overnight vets.   

Simba is our wonderful pet who has been a great companion to my son--as if he is a second sibling, myself, and everyone who meets him.  The neighborhood loves him also.  He is a 5 year old Golden Labrador who is at the moment struggeling to turn the corner.
