Simon Gratz High School Food Pantry

Hi everyone, 

Our school, Simon Gratz Mastery Charter High School, is a Renaissance neighborhood high school in North Philadelphia.   We serve the needs of students and community members in our catchment zone.  The zip codes we serve are some of the most impoverished neighborhoods in the country- our families deserve access to food and also humane treatment and choice when collecting food items.  

We are partnering with SHARE food and other non-profit organizations to provide meals, preserved goods, and household essentials to families in need within our neighborhood community.  On Friday, June 12th, we will hold our first food pantry opportunity and we hope to continue to have funds to make this a regularly biweekly or monthly event.  The money that you donate will go directly to ensuring that we have food for families as well as additional essentials (such as diapers, feminine hygiene products, soap, toothbrushes, etc) at our pantry openings.
