In memory of our Simon Hurt

Dad, Father, Pops. Many ways of saying it, but he was more than just that. He was my best friend, he was my support, he was my rock. And not just mine. He was a loving father to Daniel, and Stephanie. Partner and confidant to his wonderful fiancee to Yvonne, our wonderful stepmother. Son to George and Pauline, and brother to Lisa and Alison. Stepfather to Louise, Lucille, Hollie, Ant, James and Adam.

On 30th April, Simon passed away aged 56. He was in the prime of his life, and was taken too soon from us. He was a simple man, knew what he wanted. He would spend his life trying to remedy other people's issues before his own. He struggled in his later years, having multiple operations and surgeries. He got by with the support of those around him, especially by Yvonne. First meeting at school, Yvonne was absolutely enamoured by my dad. 30 years later, they rekindled their romance and she has been his strength and stay for the last 6 years.

After his passing, I wanted to commemorate his memory somehow and help others like he did. Please give whatever you can ❤️
