Simon Tam’s Memorial Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Megan Williams and I am collecting funds in support of Simon Tam’s family.

 

You may know Simon as family, from work, from skiing, from paddling, from scouts, baseball, music festival or elsewhere, but you will all know him as someone ready to take on a new challenge with a smile on his face. He was always ready to support the community in anyway he could. He also supported his family as an engaged father and the primary breadwinner.

 

Unfortunately our community has lost Simon in a tragic canoeing accident. His untimely death had left his family in a precarious financial position with memorial and life expenses piling up. It is now our turn as a community to step up and support his family in any way we can.

 

I know they are fortunate to live in one of the most generous and supportive communities in Canada and I thank you in advance for your support.

All funds gathered will be given directly to his family to cover ongoing expenses.
