Simon’s recovery and housing fund

Hi folks, our beloved friend Simon needs our help. They have been hospitalized with Covid and Pneumonia since January, and during their hospital stay have learned they are HIV+. Simon will need rehabilitation, outpatient treatment, and long term healthcare. They also have to move into a one-bedroom apartment near their doctor where their immune system can recover after they have completed rehabilitative physical therapy. I am hoping to raise funds to offset medical and moving costs, and ensure a smooth transition into a new home where their health can be prioritized. Simon is a cherished friend, lifelong activist and member of many queer communities across the country. They spent a year on the national board of directors for the Sex Worker Outreach Project, and are always the first to support their friends. I am hoping we, their community of loved ones, can come together to support them now when they need us the most. Simon has made my life richer in immeasurable ways, and I know I’m not the only one! We are setting the goal at $7k, but hope to surpass that number. Any contribution is so appreciated, and will help Simon’s healing and recovery process.
