Simontae Taylor
Donation protected
The weekend of Thanksgiving, Simontae fell ill and was taken to the hospital by his sister Amara. Upon arrival, they discovered a series of worsening conditions and quickly began treating a heart rate of over 180 bpm and fluid-filled lungs. Within an hour or two of being in the hospital, Simontae suffered two heart attacks until they were able to get him stable and was placed on a heart pacer and ventilator.
At the time of creating this fundraiser, Simontae's lungs have been drained, and his heart rate has returned to below 150 bpm. There are also discussions of the removal of his thyroid. He is currently on a feeding tube and heart catheter, in an effort to learn more about the current situation of his heart. He is able to move around in his bed, mouth words, and even write.
As a graduate, Simontae does not have healthcare and will likely carry the burden of medical expenses. However, having gone through such an ordeal, worrying about the cost of having his life saved should be the last thing on his mind. His family and I ask that you take this time to let others know of his situation and to donate anything you can so that Sim can live a long and healthier life.
We love you Simontae Taylor. We will be with you every step of the way. Stay Strong.
