Hello good people!
I have created this GoFundMe account to help my dear friend Kimberly who would never ask for help on her own. Kimberly has been recovering from a serious UTI infection that went undetected and is in need of help to assist her during this challenging time.
This beautiful woman started a new position in July of this year, moved states and after three days of being employed was let go due to company restructuring after a merger that she was not made aware of prior to taking the position. She received no severance of any kind.
In two weeks her unemployment will cease and will have no income coming in. She has exhausted her savings to make ends meet and paid rent up for several months, but the snowball effect of not having enough coming in is accumulating.
Shortly after losing her job, she had gotten seriously ill from a severe UTI infection that had gone undetected and had been in and out of the ER nuermous times. The first time she was rushed to the ER , her weight was roughly 102lbs, was severely dehydrated and lost a good amount of her hair. In addition, during the recovery process she contracted the flu along with a viral infection which caused a severe ear infection and now has mild hearing loss in her right ear. Due to the severity of the infection and the complications from it, the recovery process has been a journey.
I am so happy to report that she is on the mend and actively looking for work; however, rent is now due again, food is necessary, has incurred high medical expenses, and making her car payments is equally important. She has a son in college and for those of us who have kids in college, she is trying to spare him her stress and doing her best to keep his world from changing dramatically as well.
She is an amazing artist (photographer) and is open to doing free lance work if you are in her area, Davidson, NC. She finally has her strength mostly back and is scrambling to do whatever she needs to generate cash flow in this moment.
I am requesting that any little bit you can donate would be beneficial. She is a woman who truly goes above and beyond to help and promote others and as I stated, would never ask for help for herself.
Knowing her, when she finds a job, anything unused from the GoFundMe account would be payed forward to someone else in need. I know this is a fairly decent amount, but I would like her to have the ability not to worry for a few months and be able to focus on finding a job without the burden of worrying about losing her home, her car and getting caught up on medical bills.
If you would like to give, I know how appreciative she will be. I understand that at times we are not personally able to give. If this is the case, I humbly ask if you know of anyone to share the campaign with please do so.
