Simpson Adoption

Some of you know, and some of you may not know, of our passion for helping the vulnerable, the fatherless, the broken, and the needy in as many ways as we can. We have sought to be more than listeners but doers in this broken world. While we would love to discuss our passions at length, this snippet is about our passion around caring for children and their bio families.

After over two years, we have decided to pause our foster parent for right now (don't worry, we will be back) and begin pursuing our adoption story. Adoption has been on our hearts for years, so in some ways, this feels like a long time coming, and in others, it feels like it came fast. We have spent years talking, dreaming, and researching adoption and how to pursue it well. It has been a passion of ours since before we were married. We still have a heart for foster care and will be actively serving that community in other ways while we walk this road of adoption. However, we feel that now is the time for us to step further into this role.

We pray that we navigate this journey well, loving on bio family all along the way and beyond. We have already met with an adoption consultant who will walk alongside us, guiding us every step of the way, so we don't miss something. We have complete confidence they will help us carry this out well, ethically, and with the utmost care and respect of every mom we encounter. We want to love bio family well, letting them know how valuable they are and not just because of their child but because God made them. We want our children to know that their family is made up of many who love them.
