Single Mom and Her Daughter Need Help

Hi. My name is Lisa Waggoner, formerly Lisa Berry. I know Helen Mathias, formerly Helen Wray, from when we attended Saint Luke’s Elementary School together back in the 1970s. Two years ago, Helen lost her husband, Ralph Mathias, and Alicia, their daughter, lost her dad when he passed away unexpectedly.

Their tragic loss hit them hard in many ways, and Helen was not able to keep up with her rent even though she has been steadily working. Last spring, they were evicted, and mother and daughter became homeless. They have lived in their car ever since until today when another former classmate was able to move them into one of his father’s rentals. Thank goodness!!!

Helen and Alicia still need help, though. Helen needs money to be able to set up a home again for her daughter and herself. She needs money to assure that they can make their rent while Helen gets back on her feet. Helen is a hard worker, and I am confident that she will get back on her feet with a bit of help.
