Single Mom Needs Help Keeping Her House

Hi!

I’m a single mom of two kids. My son is 10 and is on the spectrum. My daughter is seven and is fiercely protective lol!

Nixon is very reserved and Amilah is very boisterous!

I am creating this fundraiser because I need to keep our home. Due to a series of events with my work (yes I’m Employed but there have been some issues )

My kids have been through so much., They have been My rock getting me through all this, even when I’ve wanted to give up the most ! Anyone who knows anything about Autism understands the importance of stability I am not the mom who gives up easily. I have to have faith that there is a reason I am going through this

I left an abusive marriage ( I literally got my front teeth broke) and found out 2 weeks later I was Pregnant with my youngest. We got a bedroom with a friend of mine. My son and I shared a bed and later added a crib to the room. Everything we have we’ve been blessed with. After that we got into a horrible rental that was riddled with mold and literally falling apart. I’m still fighting that in court. It costed me a job and tons of moving expenses.

I have had so many medical struggles these last five years. I’ve had 7 tumors removed from my leg in 5 surgeries, cancer surgery this last July to remove a precancerous lesion, been through the post Covid recovery clinic twice, had Covid 4 times 2 of which ended me in the hospital, once not knowing if I’d pull through. Among many other things. Plus my son has had 3 surgeries in two years and my daughter has had 2 in two years. Not to mention all the outside appointments for my son (psychiatric, PT OT SPEECH) in home therapy … it’s a lot

It’s safe to say I haven’t been able to work one job consistently full time. I work HyVee s as a flex worker, clean houses, bake and decorate many different items and Door Dash.

God has provided so many things for my kids, and I even when we were on the brink of homelessness, but now I find myself in a position again of having to fight for our home. God blessed us with this home I know he will provide for us!

The $2000 will bring me current so I can maintain going forward. We have come to far to loose everything now
