Single mom of 5 needs help starting over.

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I have 5 children and am fighting for custody, trying to regain my footing as I've been displaced from my home, and I desperately need assistance. In September of 2022 my current husband came home from work announcing he was moving his new girlfriend into our home with our 5 children. I was shocked to say the least but feeling helpless and trying not to break my family apart, I stayed living there for two months, while looking for a place to move to. I ended up moving to my mom's camper when the situation became unbearable and toxic for the children.

I work full time and my children want to be with me, as I have always been their primary caregiver. We are going through a very messy divorce, and he has been told to sell our home, but is refusing to do so as he does not want to give me any of the profits. This also gives him a leg up on me as he can say he has a more stable home than I do. It doesn't seem to matter that his choices have broken our family up and displaced the kids lives.

I have never been one to ask for money or a handout, but I am in a desperate situation where I am hoping to get some assistance from others. I need enough to get a first and last months on an apartment so that I can move out of my current living situation, which is my mom's camper. I need to find a place by March 1st, it is hard to save enough quickly. My attorney informed me I need to find a place ASAP as my ex is using me living in a camper as a means to prevent me from getting custody of all my children. As I stated I do work full time and will be able to pay my rent, I just need some help establishing a down payment.

I am asking for $10,000. In hopes I can get some extra to help with attorney costs and fees which are currently at $6500. Because he is battling everything, the attorney fees are continuously racking up. If you can find it in your heart to help us out with whatever you can, it will be more than greatly appreciated.
