Single mom’s surgery and medical expenses

Hi, my name is John and I’m fundraising for my daughter Erin Martin (Miller). Erin is extremely ill from Breast Implant Illness and also shows possible symptoms of cancer. Her illness symptoms became acute in December when she realized that she had been experiencing gradually increasing symptoms over the prior year. Her symptoms intensified significantly since March so that she could no longer perform her two jobs.

Erin’s first doctor suspected lymphoma based on symptoms and initial bloodwork. Erin obtained a second opinion. After testing and examination, the second doctor believed the primary issue was breast implant illness. Additional bloodwork showed a long list of related issues as well as continuing indicators of possible cancer. He has recommended an explant and en bloc capsulectomy (reduces contamination risk) followed up with imaging to check for tumors.

However, Erin has no medical insurance; neither of her jobs offered insurance. After losing her jobs, she went to Obamacare, which denied her. She went to Medicaid but is waiting for an exemption that will likely take months for approval. Regardless, insurance does not cover implant removal for implant illness, only for rupture. Her inability to work since March has caused her to incur debt for basic living expenses, in addition to her out-of-pocket medical expenses. She is even more concerned she will be kicked out of her rental and lose her two young kids (3 & 7; both abandoned by their fathers).

Her mother and I are trying to help her but are both retired with very limited income/savings. She is in desperate need of help. Would you please help our daughter?
