Single Mother & autistic child house was wiped out
Donation protected
In the night time hours of April 12, 2020. A storm raged through Franklin, NC. A land slide due to the large amount of rain that came down caused the home of Sonya Watson to slide down the mountain. Sonya is a single mother of an autistic daughter and also lives with her mother in-law. The three women were tossed down the mountain inside the trailer that they lived in. Everything was lost. Clothes, Furniture, dishes, personal belongings, cars. I have know Sonya for 20+ years and consider her a close and personal friend. Anything you can donate would help her rebuild her and her families life. Thank you in advance.
She would never ask anyone for anything. She works for everything she has or had. She needs help now.
I am not the best at writing these things but please don't skip over this woman and her family because of my lack of skills. If you have any questions you can email me at [email redacted]
Physical donations can be dropped off at Resurrection Lutheran Church Wednesday and Friday 10am-2pm 38 Wayah Street Franklin, NC 28734
