Single mother and 8 year old need moving funds.

My name is Onyx (they/them). I'm 28 years old and I have an 8 year old son.

I have been struggling to find housing over the last few months. I finally found a place to stay and I'm only able to afford the deposit and the rent. That's my entire check for the month. I cannot afford to turn the power or water on and I can't afford a uhaul to move my things there if I do get approved for city utility assistance.

This is my only chance at starting over. My husband abandoned me whenever I became disabled. He divorced me and told me I had 3 months to get out.

I have two overlapping autoimmune diseases called Ankolosing Spondiloarthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis with a bit of hydrocephalus in my brain as well. This causes me pain in my spine, migraines, dizziness, and full body aches and fevers. I have had symptoms of these diseases since I was 16. I worked as a pharmacy technician until I was 25 and couldn't work anymore. I wanted to help other people like me.

If you donate I will be able to afford to move into my new place and not worry about having running water. Next month when I don't have to pay a deposit I'll be able to pay everything on my own.

My family ultimately abandoned me because they're all bigoted and none of my friends can take in two people.

I just need a head start chance.

Edit Update: I've moved into the new place and I've got to pay $200 for the power before the 16th. I also have to pay my car insurance $90. And buy a window AC unit $150. I just need a little more help! I don't even have blinds or curtains for shade and it's getting really hot.
