Single Mother Car Accident with Two broken Legs
Donation protected
July 20th on the way back from WA to visit her father and help her oldest son buy his first car, Natalie was hit head-on by a man who, according to Oregon state police, had been driving people off the road for an undetermined amount of time. Both her 20-year-old and 11-year-old sons managed to walk away with scrapes and bruises but she received the brunt of the impact. She's suffering from compound fractures in both ankles, a break in her right shin, multiple broken ribs, and a punctured lung. The surgeons at the hospital she is in are unequipped to deal with such extensive trauma injuries and with broken ribs and a deflated lung, she is advised against ground transport. She will need to be flown from central Oregon to Los Angeles in the coming days to receive the surgeries she needs. At this point, it is unknown how much insurance will help but we are expecting expenses to be difficult to manage. Due to multiple anticipated trauma surgeries, doctors are saying at minimum her recovery will be 9-12 months. Fortunately the accident only effected her physically, she is exactly the same woman we know and love. Natalie is a loving mother who wouldn't have had it any other way than to have suffered so her sons would not. Anything to help relieve stress from her and her family is extremely appreciated.
