Single mother of 2 Car totalled by Hit and Run

Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 6 pm my two boys and I were on the 264 East highway between the Poplar Level Rd. And  Newburg Rd  in Louisville, KY and we had to pull over on the side of the expressway due to car alternator issues. I had a friend come and get us and decided that it would be safer to deal with the car in the daytime on Sunday the next day. When a friend and I came back the next day to retrieve my vehicle, I not only found it in the ditch but the back end had been smashed and the car undrivable. We went to two police stations and even to the transportation cabinet where the snow plows are kept, but noone knew anything and no reports had been made. 

I use my car not only to work but to take my children to and from school. The car only had liability insurance, so insurance will not cover it. It's a total loss and I am at a total loss about what to do because I currently do not have enough funds to purchase another ride. I am usually too proud to ask for help, but some friends asked me to make this page. If it will help my children it is worth a try.

The positive aspect of all this is that I am blessed that we weren't in the car when my vehicle was hit.
