Single mother of 4 need some emergency help

There is a single mother of 4 that my wife and I are close to and who needs some assistance. Her 12 year marriage ended a few years ago due to his unfaithfulness and mental abuse. It was so bad a permanent CPO had to be filed by this mother. This mother then was forced out of her home with the four kids. She since as obtained a full time job, 2 part time jobs AND a house. However, the house has been in remodel mode. She and the kids have been staying with family during this time.

Now, the ex husband is incarcerated. She is now a full time parent, insuring and feeding the kids, ages 7-12. The help we asking for is the attorney fees. The ex inlaws have filed suit for custody saying they get no visitation with children. This is a bogus suit. Ex husband went to prison November 6th and the kids got to visit the grandparents 7 times within a 5 week period.

The attorney is requesting a $3500 retainer be paid prior to February 29th, 2024. If you could help in anyway, that would be grateful. If you could share in anyway, that would be appreciated. Please reach out if you have any questions.
