Single Mother of Three Faces Homelessness

Hi, my name is Susan. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Devon, who is struggling to find a home to live in with her three children. She has been living in the same city for the past 30 years since graduating from The Ohio State University. She has lived in the same house for 14 years after starting her family. Her landlord passed away suddenly and the house was sold. The new owners are not allowing her to continue renting. They will be getting evicted on July 31st. Due to current rental rates, it is almost impossible to find a place she can afford. Devon works for a public city school district and she struggles to make ends meet on her salary. She will use the money to pay for the first and last month's rent along with other moving expenses. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
