Living with Breast Cancer- Dying for a Cure!
Just over four years ago, I was diagnosed with stage 4 secondary breast cancer. This means my breast cancer has spread to another part of my body (bones) and therefore I can never be cured . I have been receiving chemotherapy to control and contain my cancer from spreading further into my organs and so far, Thank God, my treatment has been working.
During this time, I have lost a dear friend to this cruel disease and as it's Breast Cancer awareness month, I have decided to swim the same distance as crossing the English Channel (22miles) to raise funds for future research to hopefully one day find a cure
I have been swimming most mornings, averaging 45 lengths each session. This will be a tough challenge between chemotherapy sessions but I know I'm determined and strong enough for the challenge. Please help me reach my target - no donation too small. Will mean the world to me for your support ❤
My strength and determination comes from my babies.....never ceases to amaze me how they cope and flourish during such challenging times.
you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of BREAST CANCER RESEARCH AID and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
